Billy and Pat features various items attributed to Billy the Kid along with Pat Garrett’s photo, badge and Colt SA complete with holster. Billy the Kid’s favorite song was “Turkey in the Straw” as he loved to dance with the ladies. Fluent in Spanish, the colorful Mexican girls loved him, especially for his joy of dancing. Three card Monte was his favored card game – he was very good at it too! Preferring a Mexican sombrero as his hat of choice, Billy had several others which he occasionally wore. A Winchester carbine in rough shape and knife he was holding when killed. His infamous ‘anchor shirt’ probably acquired at the Tunstall Dry Goods store in Lincoln, New Mexico, is presented in blue.
