After retiring from the Air Force in 1970, the author built an art gallery in Santa Fe that he and his wife ran for 17 years. Since retiring again in 1988, his energies have been directed toward excavation of a large Indian pueblo and writing books about art and exploration. This is his 8th book and is a memoir of his life and some secrets about his hidden cache of a bronze chest full of gold and precious jewelry.
