Luftwaffe Color Chart

Description

As one of the principal suppliers of aviation paint to the Luftwaffe during WWII, Warnecke & Böhm has certified that each color chip in this color chart has been precisely matched by carefully spectrophotometric measurement and reproduction of all known original color standards and paint manufacturer’s archive specimens. Due to the technical progress in paint formulation, Warnecke & Böhm guarantees outstanding film properties by using a modern two component polyurethane system and pigments with high UV resistance.

This Luftwaffe color chart, therefore is the most accurate and authentic source for actual color standards as they were specified by the German Air Ministry from 1933 to the war’s end in 1945.

Chips are acutally painted, not printed thereby guaranteeing the most accurate replication of the values in the actual recipies as approved by the RLM. A total of 30 different RLM approved colors are presented.
