The purpose of this book is to acquint the researcher with the diaries of the Battle of the Little Big Horn. These first hand diaries represent the closest to the truth that the researcher will come. While the diaries reviewed and presented here do not represent every diary kept on the campaign, nevertheless every diary that could be located is presented. Important pertinent passages are included.
