Capote ~ Red

Standard Red Hudson’s Bay (?) 4 point blanket capote. Hand sewn with artificial sinew, shoulder decor using blue trade cloth and beadwork. Blanket stitched, hooded, no waist tie. Crafted as a 2 piece Capote. Label missing. Some stains on collar.

Arm length 27″; chest 44″; approximate neck opening 18″; overall length 49″

All our capotes have been extensively used both as artist props and in movies Centennial and The Mountain Men where Jerry served as technical advisor in both films. Judy made Charlton Heston’s green Hudson’s Bay capote for the movie The Mountain Men.
