Keep the Last Bullet for Yourself
By Thomas B. Marquis
Condition; very good, minor scratches on dust jacket over hard cover
Two Continents Publishing, 1976
Dr. Thomas B. Marquis was a dedicated physician who for many years in the first quarter of this century worked with the Cheyenne people on their Montana reservation near the site of the Battle. He befriended the older Sioux, Cheyenne and Crow veterans of the fight, became adept at their sign language and spent days in conversation with them.
After years of working with the veteran warriors, Marquis wrote this book. His conclusion: the troopers at the Little BigHorn with Custer had panicked with most of them committing suicide!
