Scoring a total of 24 victories he is the highest ranked living Italian Ace. His many awards include the Iron Cross II Class. Three Silver Medals and the Medal of Gold (The Medaglia d’Oro) for Military valor. Mr. Gorrini reentered the Italian military and served until 1979 retiring as an officer.
