Boots and Saddles
Boots006 – Dark brown, 14 ˝” tall early 1870s-1880s period cowboy boot with rare scalloped top, front and back. This feature has been found on boots as early as 1868 – 1869 but is not all that common. Heels are 1 1/8” scooped, semi rounded toe, unusual scalloped front last which is another feature found on some early boots, but no that prevalent, usually indicative of a fine quality boot maker. Some decorative stitching at the top and down the back. The uppers are made of a pebble finish, inside lining is a light brown calfskin. Condition is excellent. Funny as it sounds, there is partial remnants of horse manure on the arch of one of the boots! Size; medium.
Price: $1250.00
