CG-001- Leather cowgirl riding skirt

An outstanding Hamley & Co. Ladies leather riding skirt decorated with hundreds of nickel spots and 15 nickel slotted tie-conchos. Made in the late teens or early 20’s by the prestigious Pendleton maker out of Oregon. See close up of label. Note fine detail of spots surrounding pockets and along fringe perimeter of each skirt leg. This is one of the finest examples known of this beautiful premier Cowgirl collectible. Excellent condition, probably worn only once if at all. Some aging. Featured on the cover of the Fifth Annual Wild West Auction presented by High Noon, January 1995. Current value at $6000.00 in the new, revised edition of my book Cowgirls, Early Images and Collectibles.
