STEP 5: Choose either PE 22 & PE 23 fuel selector lever or the resin fuel selector lever and place it into the slot in the lower panel. See photo below. It should be in the bottom of the slot normally. Attach the lower instrument panel to the side consoles using the mounting tabs on the front of the consoles, and the front edge of the cockpit roof. The upper instrument panel sets into the replacement windscreen / instrument hood. Attach the gun sight bracket above the instrument panel, using the gun sight to set its position. The gun sight sits inside the square opening and protrudes slightly above the instrument shroud.
STEP 6: Assemble the kit fuselage halves. Slip the resin cockpit into place from underneath the fuselage. Make sure that the canopy slide rails are flush with the kit's sills, and that the rear upper decking is slightly above the cockpit sills. Check for fit problems and thin the kit fuselage halves until the parts fit correctly. DO NOT glue the cockpit in place yet. Use tape to secure the parts inside of the fuselage. See photo below.
