Vest011 – Early, snazzy gambler’s style, three pocket, shawl collared man’s vest. Material is a crème colored silk with a delicate brocade and a brown double arrow, lightning bolt design. Very unusual!. Six original pearl buttons. Lining and back plate is crème color cotton with adjustable belt and buckle on back. This early fancy vest dates to the 1870s and would be a great example of a gambler’s vest. Overall condition excellent except for some slight staining in spots.

Price:  $550.00

Vest012 – Black wool, four pocket vest with notched collar. Six metal buttons. Lining is blue and ivory stripped silk material with inside pocked. Back panel is polished cotton, dark brown, with adjustable belt and buckle. Overall condition is excellent, but has some fraying in armpit and has small opening in lining seam at neck. A few small holes on the back panel at the back of the neck. A great example of a “Wyatt Earp” type vest of the 1880s, 1890s period.

Price: $550.00
