Vest 003 – Original, four pocket, collarless and made of  light weight material is this man’s summer vest. Ten original pearl buttons on front. Back panel ivory colored muslin with adjustable belt. Owner’s initials and what appears to be a laundry mark appears inside of belt. This vest probably dates to about 1900. Excellent condition.

Vest004 – Original, four pocket, black light wool, man’s dress vest. Eight buttons covered with black silk, notched collar with corners sewn down. Brown stripped silk lining with a large inside pocket. Back panel is olive green silk with adjustable belt and buckle. Overall condition is very good with several small old moth holes.

Vest005 – Original, fancy gambler’s style early three pocket man’s vest. Material is black silk with brocade design, shawl collar edged with black silk ribbon. Eight metal buttons that were original covered with black silk. Lining with crème colored cotton, back panel brown cotton with adjustable belt and buckle. This once beautiful vest was a top of the line, high quality dress article, but unfortunately through the years has been poorly treated. Many of the seams are coming apart, shows fraying on the front and needs a lot of tender loving care. With some work it could be restored for excellent display.
