Vest010 – Very desirable man’s vest from MGM studios worn by one of the great actors of all times, Spencer Tracy. Brown herring bone patterned vest has two pockets, shawl collar, six tortoise shell buttons. Lining is crème colored cotton. Has original Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer label (see detail photo) with the name “SP Tracy” and the stock number. Back panel is brown silk with adjustable belt and buckle. Back seam is partially open.
This piece of movie memorabilia is rarely offered for sale. It came from the MGM auction of the early 1970s and has been in our collection ever since. Don’t let this one get away.

Vest002 – From the Western movie industry, here is an attractive sage green brocaded flower design, silk vest with two pockets, 5 buttons and a shawl collar. It is lined with crème colored silk. Back of the best is gray silk with adjustable belt and buckle. Inside the lining there is a movie company stamp, probably MGM, but is faded and unreadable. Also stamped in the lining is the size “42”. Overall condition is very good to excellent. Some fraying inside of the lining. Who knows who has worn this attractive vest and in what movies…if only it could talk!
